65) May 17: Onward

May 17, day 48

Today we leave Agua Dulce and head for Hikertown, about 110 km away, a ranch owned by Richard Skaggs that accommodates PCT hikers (camping accommodations, laundry, showers, mail, meals, small shop). It's touted as yet another highlight! After 40 km we take a short break at Casa de Luna. The Anderson family accommodates hikers as well – their hospitality is supposed to be so wonderful that most people don't want to leave. Sounds dangerous. ;-)
