A few days ago, we filmed what are probably the last postrail interviews, once again with our much-appreciated cameraman Notker Mahr. First of all with Snake Eyes, a young hiker who even hiked through the difficult Sierra Nevada in the snow.
Silvina (Snake Eyes) comes from a small village of 300 people near Bonn and the trail was her first time away from home. We also filmed an interview with her trail partner at the time, Daniel (Racecar), who lives not far from her, and visited some of her favorite places around the Rhine with both of them. They started together, but only Silvina made it to Canada. You can see how that came about and what drives them both today in the finished film ;-) On the trail, we also asked them if they could imagine becoming a couple on the PCT ...

So far, information about the movie can be found both on this page and on Startnext (crowdfunding). We now want to merge them - in future there will be a menu item "Film" at www.pct2019.org. And: www.pct2019.org will become www.laufderfilm.de, the official film website address (the old URL and the Startnext page will also remain valid)!
It's worth taking another look in the next few days ...
