Short rest and cooling down in the Ticino Alps/Verzasca Valley
Now 6 weeks have passed since the end of the crowdfunding.
We hope that everyone had or still has a nice summer, despite or because of the high temperatures ;-)
With this blog entry we would like to bring you up to date.
The shooting schedules have now resulted in some concrete dates. We will be in the USA between October 20th and 28th because of an interview with Jonathan Maidment aka Money Maker, who suffers from Alpha-1-Antitrypsin Deficiency, a genetic disease. We encountered him several times on the trail. On his hikes, Jonathan raised a lot of money for research into the disease for the Alpha1 Foundation.
Right after that, between October 28 and November 8, we shoot with Second Chance Hiker, a US American whose real name is Cory McDonald. He started the PCT with over 400 lbs, with the goal of losing 200 lbs ... In the meantime, he lives in Thailand.
From there we want to go to a PCT hiker in Seoul/South Korea.
We will also see Seashells/Nadine again, with whom we did our first posttrail interview in 2020.
Other things are still in planning ...
Regarding the rewards: The postcards are in progress and will soon be delivered to the recipients. The calendar is also scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
As soon as there is more news, we will inform you here again.
