Today we would like to inform you about the current status of our crowdfunding campaign for „WALK! – Encounters between two borders“ – The documentary about our hike on the PCT 2019.
It has been running for about 3.5 weeks and we have since received €6,762 ($7,312) from 78 supporters, which is 30% of our funding goal! Thank you so much to everyone who has so generously supported and shared our project! So 41% of the time is over, we still have 36 days left, in one week it will be half time. So we need to step it up a notch to reach our goal of €22,500 ($24,332) on June 23! Please help us to do so, because we will only get the donation amount if the funding amount is reached!
We would like to motivate everyone once again to forward the link to your family and friends and to your network, to share it and to make interested people aware of our project. And all those who have not yet booked a reward, we ask you to do so. It's worth it, there are different rewards for every budget. Just take a look at what's available!

Last week we had a special promotion: Among all supporters who booked a thank you gift from May 8 (0am) to May 14 (11:59pm), we raffled an additional reward for free. The winner could choose from the following thank-you gifts: Hiker bundle (naming in the movie credits and DVD) or 1 ticket to the movie premiere. The winner has now been chosen and will be notified by us!
There is still a long way to go until we reach our funding goal. We will now increasingly approach companies in order to reach our goal. Companies are also welcome to contact us before booking to clarify any questions in advance. Do you have contacts to companies that might be interested in our project? Feel free to reach out or write to us so we can contact them.
