When our intrepid friends Sabine and Oli asked me – a bilingual German-American writer and artist – to translate their PCT blog, I agreed. Albeit with a twist. A straight translation would bore me, so this blog is going to be my personal take on a trip I am very unlikely to undertake in this lifetime.
